Consider this as an early access game, almost anything could change and you may encounter some bugs.

Cardapolyse is a 2D card-based dungeon crawler inspired by similar games of its kind. In the game you play as Zein, a prisoner who is trying to escape from an underground prison. Delve through (as of early access) 15 progressively difficult floors. To leave from one floor to the next you need to find the door to the next level. 

Controls:

  • LMB: Interact with the cards (i.e. pick up, use, etc...)
  • RMB: Take items, equip/unequip or use items.
  • To destroy an item, drag it from inventory unto the Destroy button.

Gameplay hints:

In case you feel lost or feel something is confusing the below hints should help you out. Note they are classified as spoilers as it is better to figure them out as you play.

Hint 1 Read the description of every item, it tells you what it does.
Hint 2 Consumables and spells are a one time use only.
Weapons Hint When attacking with a ranged weapon, the enemy does not retaliate instead, you accrue alarm build up.
Alarm Hint 1 At above 50% alarm, a random card will turn into enemies every time you enter combat
Alarm Hint 2 There is a spell that can clear out your alarm build up.
